| This is
a pair of oversize flattop pens from the 1920s. One has the Wearever
signed clip and the other has the Pioneer clip. |
 |
 |
You will
notice on this Pioneer clip the small DK mark near the top. The DK stood
for David Kahn. |
| Various
Wearever and Pioneer pens from the 1930s. When the buyers wanted
streamlined pens, Wearever supplied them. |
 |
 |
You can
see 3 different production methods used in these pens. The center pen was
made from tubes using an end cap. The Pioneer was made from a tube
and was drawn together at the end. The pen on the right was made in one
piece from a rod. |
|
Pacemakers and model 100s from the 1940s. These were among the best pens
ever produced by Wearever in quality and writing performance. |

 |
1950s
Wearever pen. While the quality was excellent on these pens, they hold
very little interest for collectors. |
